September Concerts at the Library

September Concert Schedule

The South Sioux City Public Library, 2121 Dakota Avenue, South Sioux City, Nebraska, is bringing several concerts to the community in September and early October.

 Kerry Grombacher will perform at the library on Thursday, September 1st at 6:30 p.m.

Kerry Grombacher plays guitar and mandolin and writes contemporary folk and western songs, as well as country songs and ballads.

KerrKerry Grombacher 2y Grombacher performs regularly at festivals, house concerts, coffee houses and other folk music festivals. He travels throughout the west appearing at numerous cowboy poetry and music gatherings.

Brian Keith Wallen will perform a concert at the library on  Monday, September 12th at 6:30 p.m.

Brian Keith Wallen is on the road all the time. From one coast to another, Brian is spreading his brabrian keith wallennd of blues-based Americana across the country. His lightning licks on guitar will never let you forget his name. In just a few years, Brian has released multiple albums and performed over 1,000 shows in 25 states. iSpy Cincy writes, “His raw, passionate sound encompasses the blues soul with perfection.”

Brian won 2nd place in the 2015 International Blues Challenge,  ranking in the top two out of hundreds of artists from all over the world. He is also the winner of the Starr-Gennett “Blues Artist of the Year” award. Brian has brought his foot-stomping, one-man-band show to timeless treasures, such as Dollywood and the Ryman Auditorium. He’s also taken it all the way to countless blues festivals and the one and only Beale Street.

Li’l Red a12376306_939788912795729_3577524383674272035_nnd the Medicated Moose Band will be in concert at the library on Monday, September 26th at 6:30 p.m.  They have been making their rounds around the Siouxland entertainment circuit.  We are proud to welcome them to the library.

Teneia will be in concert on Monday night October 3rd at 6:30 p.m.

Teneia is an original folk/soul wife-and-husband duo consisting of Teneia Sanders-Eichelberger and Ben Eichelberger.  Their music combines elements of folk, soul, Southern gospel, blues, and easy-listening pop.

In 2015 Teneia sold most of their possessions, bought a travel trailer, and transitioned to a life on the road with one goal: spread a message of love and equ


ality through great music. They currently travel the United States playing their original songs for loving audiences across the nation. Teneia intends to connect listeners more deeply with themselves and each other.
